According to the ballots cast on league websites, the second-year Patriots quarterback had garnered 64,576 votes, almost 10,000 more than Seahawks wide receiver Jaxon Smith-Njigba in second place. The closest quarterback to Maye was Rams standout Matthew Stafford at 50,148 votes.
